Welcome to ‘No Place Like Home’ 2020

Live on this website 1 - 30 September

Now in its 5th year, our annual community art exhibition continues to grow and evolve, attracting a diverse range of moving and inspiring works from local and professional artists.

Brought to you by Link Housing, ‘No Place Like Home’ seeks to raise awareness about the need for safe, affordable and secure housing to help the most vulnerable in our community.

A new online format

In response to COVID-19, this year we embark on our first foray into the virtual space moving our exhibition and launch event online.

We invite you to take a virtual walk through the exhibition (via the video below) to begin your ‘No Place Like Home’ 2020 experience.

We look forward to working with our partners to be able to host the exhibition in both physical and online galleries next year and beyond.

Our Artists

Artists showing and selling their works in this year’s exhibition include both Link Housing community housing residents and professional artists from around Australia.

Our sincere thanks goes to all the artists who have taken the time to share their talents with our community despite these challenging times.

Together our artists have contributed over 60 artworks, ranging from paintings, video art, poetry, sculptures and photographs that reflect the theme ‘No Place Like Home’.

As in previous years, many artworks are for sale and we welcome your enquiries to purchase. Monies from the sale of artworks goes directly to the artist.

A welcome from Link Housing

Link Housing, one of Australia’s leading community housing providers, has hosted the annual exhibition since 2016 to raise awareness of the importance of affordable, safe and secure housing.

"The ‘No Place Like Home’ art exhibition is one of Link Housing’s keystone community programs that seeks to better the lives of our residents and the communities in which they live.

Taking the exhibition from a physical event to a digital event has been a new experience for everyone and a chance to make this special event more accessible to local residents, friends and families, by engaging with the artworks from the comfort of their own home.

We hope you enjoy the new online experience and continue to support ‘No Place Like Home’ in the years to come."
